Is my 1 your 10?
Once upon a time, there was an argument between two people over the meaning of a word that one used and the other took as an extreme offense. Walking nearby was a sage who overheard the argument and took upon himself to stop the debate with simple words. The sage walked closer and stood still to call their attention and asked:

“Would you mind waging the offensiveness of that word on a scale from one to ten, where one comes from a non-offensive intent?”

Not much pondering took for the one to call it a 1, while the other in retaliation proclaimed being a 10! The sage looked at both and asked to ponder at what they both had just witnessed.
Both men looked at each other as their souls connected, to learn that is the intent behind the word and not the word itself what comes from the soul.

This story comes from one particular entity from the Collective Forces of Knowledge and Wisdom that I have learned to be the one who gives me some amazing stories I will soon begin to publish. I can feel the wisdom in its personality, but I dare not to ask for names— simply recognize its presence from whom it is.

It took place while pondering upon a real incident where I was judged as the transgressor when my choice of words meant a compliment rather than an offense.

While I was transcribing the story, I captured the intent behind the story: The intent is what sets everything in motion.

First I had the intent of verbally expressing a feeling I had towards one particular person. Secondly, I created a line of thought followed by choice of words. The third and final act was my verbal communication to the other person.

That gave me a clear picture as to how the receiver oftentimes misinterprets any given word, concept or action. But the true intent is what prevails as it is embedded in the soul as the true purpose behind any given action.

As you can see, this subject can be quite extensive because the true intent also applies to the deceiver and many other aspects of expressions, but in this case, the true intent behind the story is to help us all understand each other by simply asking ourselves the same question the sage once asked.
