When you are in fear, like, for instance, due to uncertainty, replace it with: “I don’t know, but I’ll find out” …and breathe. You see?
For instance, when you are meditating, you become aware of your breathing as it becomes heavy to the body—and you work around its density.
While meditating, breathing distracts the [1] mind. Breathing is something only done while in the physical plane.
That is why while meditating, one is asked to concentrate on one’s breathing because breathing is one way to keep us anchored to Earth.
It is also a way by which the soul learns to work with the thought process—by detaching from the thought itself—because to breathe, you must take a conscious action from an involuntary action. Not like your heart, which beats on its own. You see?
Breathing has one movement; it stops and makes another movement. You see? As explained before about movement, time, and space, which translates into inhaling and exhaling.
Therefore, replace your fears with: ‘What is it that I need to find out?’ You see?
